Educator (LAUSD)
Throughout my career as an educator I have engaged in a lot of different roles. I am first and foremost a math teacher and math department chair. I also teach Robotics and Sports Medicine. Additionally, I have had the honor of working on former Superintendent Austin Beutner on his teachers advisory counsel.
2017 - 2018
Co-Owner (Twice Culture LLC)
I ran the day to day operations of a mom-and-pop apparel and accessories shop dedicated to cultural appreciation.
2006 - 2016
Multi-Store Manger (Bed Bath & Beyond)
I was responsible for three different stores and over 300 employees. I ensured that the stores were operationally sound and staffed properly. I engaged in the hiring process for staff and conducted new hire trainings.

Bachelor of Arts: Criminology and Criminal Justice. While enrolled, I held a one year internship, doing volunteer work at Penny Lane working with social workers. I was responsible for child safety during the monitoring of their biological parents’ visits and the written documentation of the visit. I also helped with program events and supervised foster kids.
